Oil Price Gouging

so im doing a research paper for school about oil price gouging. i was just wondering of anyone knows any good articles that are either saying it does exist or doesn't. i am almost done just trying to find a couple mor esolid sources. also what do you guys think about the subject?

it sucks and will make competing companies try and develop alternative fuels faster. also even though the prices are high now they are still lower than they were in the 80s because of inflation

oh dude i dont need a graph thanks a ton though. ill just search around for articles cuz my teacher is super anal and wants to see where you got the info.
