yeah you might get more responses if you put this under ski equipment not ski gabber, and to answer your question i bought my audio one at proctorjones for 70 bucks

Some (most) of the bakes aren't safety approved, they're just a hard hat with "Brock foam".

A) There are two types of bern bakers,  the 'Hard Hat' model,  and the 'EPS' model.  Both are fully safety approved but the 'EPS' offers better protection.

different foam, I actually tried both on at a shop, the EPS actually has stiffer foam, which I thought was really weird.  but the outer shell on both is identical.

You might want to get a size or two bigger than your normal one, they fit extremely small.

I really doubt that, I've been a size large for helmets since I was 16 and now I'm 20 and I just bought a bern baker for the first time, in large, fits fine, the xl felt way too big

i bought one a couple days ago from moosejaw.com? i think.  it was like 55$ out the door, they have a 20% discount and free shipping if you buy just one thing.  i thought it was a pretty good deal.  not sure about the colors though, check it out
