270 out, How long did it take you to learn one?

Ok so how long did it take you guys after your first slid rail to pull a 270 out. What was the rail (ie how tall/long the rail was, backyard rail or resort box, etc) and was it regular or blindside?

definately frontside maybe a week or so until i didnt it... it was a long time ago  but unnatural as soon as you master it is my advice learn both ways at the same time i definately wish i had done that.

Y270's out just took me one day to learn front side, I still can't do blindside. I learned on a long, straight box. I just kind of went over it in my head a bunch and thought about what I did wrong whenever i fucked up.

I can't do 270's on though without continuing my spin.

one day 7 ft box, regular. i still cant do a blindside yet though.
I learned my first 270 out at the very end of the season though

I still can't do them on a box, but it took my about half a day to get them on rails. I still can't do blindside either.

i learned on a summer set up, it was like a 15 foot flat rail.  took me like a week to dial in both blind and reg.

took me like 2 weeks after i started sliding rails, did it blind side (much easier)
then i claimed it crazy hard and thought i was god at skiing

it was the first time I had ever hit a rail.The rail was like a 5 foot long skateboard rail that we put in the back yard and like my 3 hit i did a 270 out.Really easy.

about 1 day to learn fs and backside. i think i spent a little more of the day learning fs. backsides wayyy easier

270 out is so childs play. i dont even remember my first pretzel and a couple years ago i saw this kid do a blindside 270 and im like "cool ima try that and i do it no prob."

just spend one day working on your 270 outs. frontside, blindside. keep doing it for a whole day, you'll nail it and have no problems in the future.

Yeah, once you nail the natural 270 out frontside and blindside, try the unnatural front and blind. it might take a couple days on the slopes but once you nail it its awesome

ive always thought it'd be easier to slide the rail/box unatty then do regular 270 out, seems like it'd be fairly easy, ill try it next time im skiing.

i learned them in one day just doing it over and over on a little 8ft dry rail. i learnd blindside first and it took me about a day to have them down. frontside is easier so then the next time i went i got frontside out. if you just really focus on it then you can def get it within a day or so

once i got the hang of boxes it took me about 3 try's to get 270's out, thats frontside out, never tried blindside yet

I learned how to slide rails at the beggining of the season last year and i didnt get the 270 out untill this summer on a really mellow 15 flat bar. Def start on rails its a lot easier.

It was really close after about 15 tries one day. A thunderstorm was coming and I had been trying bs 270 out for a little while, so I really went for it.   I over rotated and crashed.  Then lightning came and everyone had to get off the mountain. I didn't get another chance to try it until a month later.  It took about 20 times.

Frontside took me a backyard sesh to get it both ways.

took me a couple tries on my summer set up (20 ft rail) to get front side, and the rail was only like 6 inches high, so it's prob way easier on a real rail with more of a drop.

learned it first day i tried it. same with switch ups, same day. they were on a mailbox rail, probably 20ft long. i was so excited!

I learned them in one day and it was not on purpose either, i was learning  switch ons and after a few times doing them i realized i was doing a 270 off.

took probably like 4 try's on a stupid back yard pvc rail thing, then two tries on my first down rail urban or the year and first time i had ever done in on a down rail, and probably 3 tries on a box.

One day i started trying them on a 10 foot box spinning blindside. After landing 3 or so within an hour i went home. The next day some fag was trying to be all cool with his little siwtchups on the box so i tohught "hey lets see if i can show off with my new 270" and sure enough, i had that shot on lock.

i learned them pretty easilly. front side is easier than blindside but its all about trustiing yoursellf to land it so be confident

i got it first try on this flat up rail. not too big but this was like a day after i learned how to ski rails
