So ive got last years salomon foil boots and they fit nice and comfy ALL EXCEPT for when i flex forward, ie. flexin onto the tips of my skis. There is a bump in the back of the shell of the boot that digs the hell into my achilles. Upon further examination, there is an indent that they make around the rivet in the shell, in that location, probably to make the rivet not protrude into the liner. The problem is, its the rounded edges around the indent that dig into my achilles, i feel it through the liner. My question is, can i just take a dremel tool and grind it down? or are there other ways to go about fixing this?
