Replying to Winter at Westminster

I just got accepted into Westminster for the next semester.  Now, I have a dilema at hand.  I am given a pass at the Canyons, but I have to choose between alta and snowbird as my second pass.  What do all you guys think I should do? I really want to hit the backcountry hard this year because I live in Ohio and don't get to ski that much too often.  Which has the more challenging terrain/ better snow/ better atmosphere/ etc.?
