ight so i've been using my fakes for awhile now but i never found out if its scannable. when they punch in the numbers from the id does that mean they're scanning it or do they literally like slide it through a scanner? also for the first time i had a manager come out to my car to check if i had anyone under 21 in the car, even though my id passed. did any of u know u cant have anybody under 21 in the car when buying?
They literally slide it through a scanner, and if that doesn't work they take down all your information and make you sign the receipt. Mine never scanned cause I got the magnetic strip all screwed up. (I'm talking about a legit ID not fake)
you can definitely have people in the car that are under 21. thats bullshit. i drive my dad to the liquor store when i go home and i'm not 21, yet i'm still driving. maybe because he's not around the age of 21, but thats just retarded. my cousin can go to the store and buy liquor at 21 and no one can do shit if i'm there with him.
some stores i go in with my friends to help them carry out 30s, nothing happens, unless they don't allow minors in the store.
no it actually is a law in a lot of states, including Vermont, its just that people never actually check. I had my brothers old ID for a while when I was 16, and i bought some beer a few times, and the clerk walked outside to check if anyone was in th car(which there wasn't). I lost that ID though.
If they don't scan your ID but you see them type numbers in they are just typing in the date on the ID. Computers at like Gas stations ask to type in B-day to verify that the person is 21. Also, it depends on what place u buy beer to be with minors. My friend would always buy beer and I would go in and help carry stuff out but one time the lady was being a huge bitch at the counter and wouldn't sell to us because I didn't have an ID. I've never seen anyone check cars though.
Yeah one time on the way home from skiing my friend bought a bottle of absolut from 7/11 and the bitch at the counter asked for my ID so I just said I wasn't with him. She didn't follow me out to the car though. And yeah, the other half of 7/11 was a straight up package store, no divider in the middle or anything. I guess thats just how it is in VT
2 of my buddies have scannable fakes, im trying to get one but they only fool the distributors, if the LCB gets u outside they wont work in their scanners (or for the cops)
