Replying to Tightning bindings by yourself...

Ok so on my junk pair of skis, I have some rossi scratch bindings that go up to a DIN of 11. Since I had these mounted last year, when I wasn't near as strong, I pop out of the bindings just too easy, it appears as the DIN is set at something tiny like 5-6, but that can't be right I remember getting them at 7-8.  Would it be safe for me to get a screw driver and just add 1-2 DIN to each binding piece? And I'm not going to be going huge with these skis. (I didn't include my skier ability because I don't think it's necessary for this thread). Thanks
