Shitty Mount

Hey yall, so I just got my skis mounted, and got em back yesterday. Heres the thing the bindings are not screwed down all the way to the ski. this cannot be right. Anyway i needed some opinion on whether or not it is right so, what do you think

go to the shop if it looks wrong. tell them their mistake. i did that for my breaks

same thing happend to me last year. just take em back to where you got em mounted from and they will finish what the started. or you could just screw it in yourself. im not really sure if theirs a certain torque the screw should be at. safest thing is to take it back to your shop and they will fix it for your.

one of the toepieces in my ski is like that, is it just like a cm higher and you can see you screws going in and the topsheet is raised into the screw?

dude its completely fine, just looks shitty if you really care.  i tried screwing it in more and the thing wouldnt budge at all. idk, anyone else have this problem

no, thats not completely fine, either they have the wrong screws in your bindings (too long) or they didnt drill the holes deep enough(doubtful).  Id go give my shop hell if they did that...


p.s. this is why i bought a drill to mount my shit myself.

 you should go skiing, brake your leg from bindign malfunction sue their ass off and get rich


or just go to the shop and tell them to check it again.

yea they mounted mine like that last year the toe peice on one and the heel on the other ski were loose i  skied on them all season and they were fine. i would of tightened them up myself i just didnt want to end up goin to far in. but im going to have them tighten them up.

pics are hard becuase its such a small space to show up on the pic.  i tried screwing them in just now and i put all my weight into it and everything and it wont move.  im pretty sure its fine, but i could be wrong.  ill try to get some pics but idk

They just haven;t screwed them in all the way. Some guys are really thorough in shops and some guys are careless. Take them back to tighten them up - it's hard to do yourself without a good screwdriver.

I just picked these babies up today.

beat that, returned to me in this condition with the springs out of the binding = completely useless.
Brand new bindings, brand new skis, but its okay because they gave me 20 bucks back.
I am so pissed off I am shaking, I don't sleep and cannot believe how dumb some people are.
If you are anywhere in northern colorado, you are screwed.  This is the fine work of Outpost Sunsport, very unprofessional and very unknowledgeable, even the manager sent me on my way with one side of the heel adjusted more forward than the other side, on the same ski!  I am beyond pissed and there is nothing I can do, I signed the release, and already had the negotiation, I lost.

ic, does anyone else have the binding up a little, but you can see that the topsheet like rose up a little?  i just tried drilling it (i have a very good drill) but only a little, im afraid its gunna strip and not be able to hold the binding at all

DO NOT USE A DRILL/
With that being said, only people who have done many mounts with the same drill and are very familiar with the brake shoudl use a drill.  You will strip out the holes.
