I Was Wondering If I Should Go With The Salomon SPK Boot Or The Foil's
I'm 5' 11" And About 205 lbs
I've Been Skiing Since I Was Two
I'm In The Park About 90% Of The Time..
I Can Ski Any Thing.. And I Love Steep And Deep Stuff Aswell...
So I Was Wondering If The SPK Wouldn't Match Up Out Of The Park??
Any Infomation Would Be Awesome Thanks..
Peace

Yes I Have Done Some Research..
And I Do Work At Tech Shop..
I Was Just Wondering If Any One Has Had Any Bad Experiences With The SPK Boot Out Of The Park...
Sounds Like They Are Good, If Not Better Than The Foil..
That True?

It's not the boot that makes the skier.
Try on boots until you find some that are comfortable yet stiff enough to work in all conditions. My buddy has some Foils and they rip everywhere, but they fit his foot very well.

I ride the foils, but at 200lbs, you may find them too soft.

I love my SPK's. I use them in and out of the park. There so comfy and nice in pow also. I really like the SPK's. For me, they feel like a more custom fit.

I was lookin into some SPKs this year and just asking general questions about them and found all the shops in my area seemed to tern me down on these. At first i thought it was because of the flex being softer but that was not the case it was the 2 buckle system and all the extra cushining that they claimed really held it back from being much of a performance boot.
bottom line the SPK is for comfort, the foil is more of ur all-mountain boot...but it wont matter if they dont fit ur foot(go try dem on!)

i own the spk pro mods, and i think they are great, they are stiffer than the other spks which makes them great for riding all over the hill

i really believe the SPK can't be classed as a performance boot, and that 2-3 buckles just can't give the same control as a 4 buckle boot - although great for park..

I really would go to a store and try them both on. When i went, i tried both the Kaos and the Foils, and loved the foils because I have a higher instep. It all depends on your feet...(note: i didnt read other posts)

nah, both have a 95 flex, the kreations have an 85 flex, the kreations also do not have a bigger strap, and they do not have the padding in the back of ur calve.
