How do you acces you bios set up on xp?

I was trying to do it but it doesn't give you any key to press, I did try using all the F keys but I couldn't get it
and I have no documentation for any of this

it is kind of a noobish question but I would  like to know.

F8 will give you alternate ways to start windows.. youll have to see when you first turn your computer on.. it could be delete, esc, or F1.. that will put you into SETUP for the bios. all F8 will do is allow you to bootup in safemode etc..

BIOS is hardware related, nothing to do with Windows. Check the documentation for your motherboard if you know what it is, or your computer model.

I know what bios is..I am trying to access the set up for it.  and as I said I have no documentation for anything on my computer.

alright, I got it and I feel like a retard

I tried delete a bunch of times and it wouldn't work simply because it was booting to fast for me and my monitor wouldn't show the part of the boot process
but maybe this will come in handy for some one in the future

and it was the delete key, thanks for the help.

maybe if you read my post you would have seen that my screen does not register early enough to see it.  I am using an old crt monitor and the boot process isn't shown because my screen is trying to turn on
asshole.
