I'm so over it. They are 1 and 4 now.. how the fuck did they get beat by the Chiefs? That's just ridiculous.
I know the Bengals have never been the greatest team, but I've always been a huge fan because I've gotta represent my city's team.
I was so stoked for them this season, but they have not been successful whatsoever.
They have a great offense, but the defense has been plagued with injuries, and its killing them. They're down to 3 active linebackers.
We put up 45 points on the Browns, but our defense couldn't stop them for shit, so we lost. Yesterday, we only got 1 TD and 1 FG against the Chiefs.. which is insane considering how well the Bengals offense has always done since Marvin Lewis was hired as head coach.
They were the '05 AFC North champs, but ever since then, they have not been the same. Last season, and especially this season, they have been terrible.
If we lose to the Jets on October 21st, I'm gonna completely give
up on being a Bengals fan, and just root for the Packers with my
girlfriend.
I know this is pretty much a pointless thread... but I'm just really pissed off that they're doing SO bad this season when they have the potential to do so much better.
