haha, you mean a good combination as in someone who bikes and skis?
or bike-skiing?
I agree they complement each other well because you can do each in the other's off-season.
I'm a western new york resident, near Buffalo. I usually ride at two trail systems. Sprague Brook Park in Glenwood, NY, or Hunters Creek Park in South Wales, NY.
I occassionally ride the trails at Holiday Valley Resort/MCCarthy State Park which has an awesome trail network.
I like downhill biking a lot, but it is so scary when you start to go that fast. It hurts so much more when you fall, and you get scraped up so bad. I like skiing more, but biking at Killington is fun too.
biking is a good summer sport, especially with more and more ski fields opening their lifts in summer for lift accessed dh xc is fun as well it can be just as hard out as dh, but in a different way
yeah, i dirt jump, ride trail and BMX for 3/4 of the year and then ski the rest. has anyone ever seen those little snowbike things? they look pretty awesome. it is a bit like a bmx frame, but with a ski on the front and back. I think they are made by a company called 'creighton'?
