So i live, in london, and we have the Boardshop for boarders, and not a whole lot for skiers, unless your a racer, the ski shop had over 300 pairs of race skiis and ordered more, monthly. They had 6 pairs of twintips. So this year i go into the boardshop looking for some ballin' snowpants, the guy who is the manager comes over and says ready for snowboarding? and i said no, skiing actually, and he goes oh ok cool, what are you looking for do you need anything more then snowpants, and i said well not outerwear wise, but maybe for skiis, but the ski shop doesnt have what i want and i dont fell like driving and hour and a half for it. (my parents hate ordering sutff online cause they think their credit card #'s will get stolen) So he goes oh, and we got to talking about how they're pushing skiing away from freeskiing promoting racing skiis so hard, and then a few minutes later he goes, hey man what brands are you looking for, and i was like idk armada, 4frnt, just major skiing brands rly. And he goes, well if ya need anything let me know i'll order it for you and i can give you a discount and save the taxes. So now everytime i need something even if i dont order it i get the tax off and depending how much it is a discount. even when i buy major snowboarding brands. maybe most snowboard shops do this maybe not, but these guys are ballin.
