this movie was amazing, for those of you who have not seen it, i recomend you watch it, i am studying the war in school and watched this movie, it is a great insight to what is going on in iraq, why the US is in such a big debt, and a lot of info that you should know that is going on over seas. it is unbelievable some of the shit you hear, overall i recomend you watch this movie

take everything you hear, read, or see with a grain of salt...unless you've been there and witnessed the situation first hand
the bottom line is that we shouldn't be there, and we need to find a way to get the hell out as fast as we can without completing screwing those poor people
ive got opinions and thoughts on war profiteering too, but yall probably dont need to hear them, plus ive got to go write this magazine article so that i can get it out of the way because ive got 2 midterms this week and i dont want to have to worry about a deadline...but NS discussions on geopolitics can always be fun, so maybe ill check back in later

i mean how spun out is it? i dont really want to be force fed a bunch of junk if it's on the level of michael moore or something, i hate having to sift through that kind of bullshit just to find out how much of what's being said is actually true

no its none of that, its all the talk about haliburton and contracting comapnies like blackwater and how we pay them for nothing and they are all scams and hire bums to do theyr jobs and do a shitty job of supporting the troops, it mainley hates on all contracting comapnies involved in iraq as it rightfully should

Haliburton is a legitimate company.

Who cares? They are not soldiers nor is it their responsibility. If I were being paid to work in Iraq, the welfare of American soldiers would not be a concern of mine whatsoever. Not everyone who works for Haliburton in Iraq is an American national.
