Replying to LINE warranty question

hey guys i was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions for me with a problem i have.
i bought a pair of 05/06 chronics last december. i bought them b/c they were cheaper b/c of the fact that they were last years stock. at the end of this past season the edges were blowing out at the tails. this is a warranty inssue, they didnt blow out b/c of rail damage of a bad fall or rocks. what im wondering about is that i , in a moment of stupidity, did not keep my receipt for the purchase so i have no way of proving that i bought them within a year of now and that they are still within the one year warranty. is it even worth the hassle sending them in? if this doesnt work out im probably not gonna be able to afford a new pair for this year and i'll be stuck. anybody? help???
