I definitely do. First I went through and rated most of my friends that use NS a lot. Now whenever I see someone make a great post or something I usually toss some karma their way. If I see dumbass posts or spamming I have lots of negative to give out. I've been trying to use it because it will only get better as more people assign ratings.

Completely agree. I think if we make a point of using the karma system it will benefit newschoolers as a whole greatly in the coming years. I think it is an amazing idea, and once we figure stuff out and people get their due respect it should be a really helpful way of knowing who to trust and other stuff. Say for example someone repeatdly makes up threads about pros and their sponsors that are blatantly not true or proven false shortly thereafter. If people take the few seconds to lower their karma, the rest of NS will know that they are a less reputable source. I think this is a step in the right direction for newschoolers, and I can definitely see the karma rating replacing post count once it gets figured out.

I have been rating friends, mods, associates and industry people up.  When I see great and helpful posts, I rate them up.  I haven't rated many people down, but there have been a few..
