Beer is great but hiking requires hard liquor. Ever try hiking ten miles with a sixer??  That being said I enjoy Wild turkey 101 or when I can find it the Rare Breed barrel proof wild turkey at 106.9 proof.

If I'm not getting blackout drunk, I'll keep a steady flow of beer going all night and be pretty drunk after about 12, but if it's a huge party and I gotta get drunk fast I'll just put down a pint and then go with the beer for the rest of hte night.

i actually haven't heard of 190 being illegal. my buddy has bought multiple bottles of the 190 from liquor stores, and they are legit stores and the 190 proof out on the shelves.
