Replying to Science Channel, Anybody getting this?

As I type this, a voice on the Discovery Science channel is telling me that I will almost certainly die of bird flu. I guess, since they want it to be, all the talk about H5N1 is back. Thoughts?

I have one thought. I can't stand how all the stuff on those channels, History, Discovery, Science, etc, is made for TV. It's all blown out of proportion to make it look crazier than it is. Ice Road Truckers for example, if it were as dangerous as they want you be think its the chopper would never land on the ice to check its thickness in the first place. Sure people die and its dangerous, but honestly. Man vs. Wild, that guy got owned. Survivorman, we dont give a shit about how careful you have to be of black mambas if you are dumb enough to stick your camera in a random hole which happens to be a hornets nest. If it were as dangerous as that guy makes it sound he wouldn't do it.

Note: I watch Survorman, Ice Road Truckers, etc for their entertainment value, not because they are the most realistic representation of what stuff is really like. I can no longer tolerate Bear Gryls. (sp)
