Any ideas on posting links?

Every time I try to post a hyperlink using the "fancy" editor, it screws it up. It'll turn it into a dead link, despite that fact that you can copy and paste the link into your browser and it will work.

I have been having the exact same problem lately. I thought it was just me, but clearly I am not alone.

Okay, after playing with it a bit I figured it out...it automatically adds the "http://". So, if you just paste a url, it will tak-on the prefix so it says "http://http://www.randomsite...". The problem is you can't edit the link after you paste it into your text because its only displaying the name of the link and not the actual URL. Thus...when you post a link you have to paste from "www" onward. In conclusion...that is very inconvenient, especially if you are posting a sub-page that has a long ass address. It makes copy and paste more difficult and cumbersome. It increases the margin of error and defeats the propose of ease that "fancy" editor is supposed to have. Is there anyway this can tweaked in the future?

I just don't use the fancy editor, its pretty beat and takes awhile to load.
