Whatever's cheapest. Spend the savings on booze/weed/lift tickets/etc.
You can research what are going to be the "best" skis endlessly but as long as you get somethign the right length, around the right flex and from a reputable company you're going to be happy. I've never skied any ski I really hated, besides a few groomer skis I demoed for work. Oh, and Volkl Sumos too, horrible.
What I'm saying is, buy whatever, ski and be happy. That goes for the rest of you.
