Tuneups?

i noticed on the g10 the tuneups have a mute and volume button on them, and for the Bad Lieutenant theres only amute botton, no volume.  my question is, even tho g10's are tuneups II, is there reg tuneups for the BL that have the volume on it, or is it just the mute button?  thanks

i mean like on the cord those bottons are.  oh, and also can you use the BL tuneups in any condition?  it says they arnt waterproooff, but are mad to be used in snowy conditions.  this doesnt make sense to me.

ic, its not really a big deal about justr having a mute button, i was just wondering if i got like an old model of the tuneups or something.  do you use your tuneups in every condition like when its snowing and everything?  thanks for the help

I don't have a mute button on my tuneups, but im usually able to turn down the volume all the way pretty easily if need be and it's really hard to hear in that case. I use them all the time in any conditions and the seem to be working fine. I have covered the parts outside of my jacket in electrical tape to avoid any fraying of the wire though.

ill post a pic in a second. I mostly did it because the little things next to the plugs started to come off and part of the wire was frayed. I basically reinforced everything with it.

I have the giro g10 but you can use any of the cables with any of the helmets, it's really only having the correct earpads that matters because they all the wires disconnect.
