Replying to Clear Messages

I dont know if this has already been said or done, but i think the new NS upgrade should include a button to delete old messages, just like in an email box.  I know it deletes them after 365 days or whatever, but its not like we need to save ALL of our messages for a year.  Some messages i dont need, or are pretty much spam NS messages, and i'd really like to delete a select few.
If this has already been done, tell me how to do so.  If not, then give some feedback on the idea.
