I really liked this movie a lot. The more I watch it, the more appreciative I become of the film. This film also has that unique ability to make me want to ski to an unbearable degree. I liked the guest appearances from guys like Dash Longe(really nice 7) and Benchetler. The soundtrack is very mellow, but it fits the relaxed, slow-spinning style of the three main riders. There are two park segments, which, although not containing all that many physically mind-blowing tricks (in relation to an msp movie) are very cool thanks to the talented camera work. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys more mellow, soulful ski films. I really like it.
the park was epic shit
medows not so much but parkcity holy crap
barrels, pipe and barrels wow
i have one complaint about this movie
its not long enough, i need to watch more of it but i cant
idk if thats a pro or con
maybe both, soo good you need more
like crack
yeah because the filming was awesome. in terms of physical demand though, you can't really compare andy's switch 3 to jon's double flips. i love the segment. i'm just saying for those who are looking for huge tricks, don't look here.
i loved this movie, but the snowboarding part just didnt keep me into it so much -- i understand the whole snowboard - pollard thing but just didnt think it had a place in this movie
yea because jon's dubs arent cool and switch 360 s are. (sorry for perpetuating another idea thread, we all no it is the greatest movie of all time next to teenage mutant ninja turtles, cowabunga!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The movie pretty much sucks. NO NEED FOR the barrels session, the crappy tricks in the park sesion (lots), the stupid snowboarding segment (it's ovbiously bonus footage), and the last 120 180's... And please, there are like 5 bc booter sessions only, just different angles. You are all drugged on IDEA just like japanese kids getting epileptic with pokemon
Yeah! What the fuck! They didn't have a single helicopter follow shot! They didn't do any sw 10s! Who the hell would want to watch a movie without a perfectly manicured private park and sixteen private heli trips? Theses guys are regressing skiing!!!
I am covered in the sarcasm that was dripping off of that.
yeah, probably. blinded by balls. that makes sense.
i guess we just have different opinions on what a "good" movie is. i think something with an original soundtrack, laid back vibe, and smooth tricks all over huge pillows and pow lines is good.
I'm calling you out, there is no way you can go from saying this movie is perfect and Believe is "GARBAGE"(in another thread). come on. Are you just jumping on the bandwagon or what?
Idea is great, and so is believe.
Hey everyone! Take the time to write formal reviews using the NS system when you are stoked on something (or not) It really could help people later on instead of everyone hollering "search bar!" plus, it's great for your karma.
uhhhhh switch cork 3 is a HUGE trick. Name other people doing switch cork 3s...I personally don't know anyone else doings with cork 3s that look half that good. Such a technical trick. Unbelievable.
Honestly, not to be rude to andy at all. I really liked his riding more with poles, he flailed less, landed better, and was overall more fun to watch. I think its cool that hes doing what he likes and whats fun and I completely respect that, but as far as watching goes I liked him w/ poles. So at this point I would rather watch Jon kangaroo flip, Vanular double flip, or pep 9 in the bc. BTW, peps rodeo 5 high safety type deal = fucking sick
yes its an impressive trick. i'm saying that for all the double-flip adrenaline junkies, this movie won't be for you. jon's kangaroo flip will probab;y look way crazier to someone who doesn't know anything about skiing than pollard's zero spin. i like the slow spins more. i'm just saying, if you are an adrenaline junkie, idea may not be your best fit.
