Theyre quite different, the main reason being that the Powerbites are aluminum and Profiles are chromoly (im pretty sure) so it would be nice to know what youre using them for.

i will be using them for mostly urban, with some dirt here an there. i will be doing up to 6' drops onto flat and 4' drops onto concrete. i will be doing a significan amount of stairs aswell. i would go for the profiles but the welds worry me because i my past experience ive found that everything that can brake will.

i think...chromoly is stiff therefore it'll snap, not shatter into thousands of pieces. im not so sure tho. the chromoly ones

how did you bend them? was it a fall or just regular riding? because if it was just riding I would be tempted to go with the profiles.

Profiles are made from chromoly which is less stiff it abosrbs shock much better, so its better for street. Chromoly cranks tent to bend before they break.
Powerbites are used more for dirtjumping cause theyre lighter and they dont need to do as much abosrbing. Becuase they are made from aluminum they tend to crap before they break.
If youre doing 6 foot drops to flat you will break everything, unless you're incredibly trials steeze smooth.
I ran powerbites for a while for dirtjumping and they worked really well, just had to clean and regrease them a couple times cause sand would get in and make irratating noises.

profiles are stronger. I was just saying dont be stupid and do lame drops to flat that just damages your equipment. Im assuming you can ride relativly well.

get profiles, your not gonna break em. you'd break whatever pedals your riding before you break the arms.

i bent the spindle on a crash... aluminum isn't supposed to bend, but the cranks are also slightly tweaked. i've seen one set break before, i say profile, some of the best parts in the world.
