PROBLEM: so i have this composite decking which just plain as shit wont slide, iv made rails with decking before, but i tryed out this new type, its now grooved like the other stuff but totally smooth on top, (which i thought would slide better) doesnt slide for shit, iv even tryed to sand and wax it
QUESTION: so if none of u can figure out how to make the shit slide, i was just gonna suck up the cost and buy some lexan or hdpe to nail on top of the decking, how much would it cost for a 1ft wide, 16ft long piece? which should i choose? should i use coping? can u cut hdpe urself?

if that shit is expensive just buy pvc and space like 3 evenly across the foot, probably the cheapest solution..

ya...i put it on a box with the same way it would be used on a pro rail in a resort park(metal rails on each side with this stuff in the middle)....since its the same stuff that ski bases are made of, it can dent or scratch or whatever else ski bases can do. i put 2 layers on just in case; it works pretty well. good luck

you could try to torch the top of the deking and melt it the same way you polish plexi glass you never know it might work
