Yea so this summer i hurt my achillies tendon at mt. Hood. It was the second to last day so i rode it out the next day because i wanted to get my backflips more layed out. It hurt badly all that day. And now the achillies is still hurting me so im BUMMED because i cant ride if its messed otherwise it will like pop or something. ADVICE
i think assuming you know what the doctor is going to tell you is a stupid idea. what exactly do you want? okay, you'll be better by winter, I promise. better?
your first problem was riding on it when you knew something was wrong. dumb idea. "oh i need to get my backflips down better!" is no excuse for putting your body in risk of being injured even more.
your second problem is coming to newschoolers for medical advice. the majority of this site is comprised of teenagers. last time i checked teenagers haven't completed med school. true, some might have some similar past experience, but i'll stick with my doctor.
if the doctors told you to do stretches and stuff, do them. i'm fairly confident the doctors know more about what to do then people on newschoolers. sometimes recovery takes a while. have a little patience eh?
I'm not sure riding that second day was the best thing.
But, soak it in a bath, massage it, whatever. And go see a doctor (if possible). If you snap it, it won't be an easy road back. Don't risk snapping it. Go see a doc.
