So last yr i broke my 1080's and i am looking to get another twin to just fuck around the mountain. Ride some park, but also ski almost everyday on them (already have powder skis). What would you guys recommend from the 08 range. Oh and btw i am skiing on the east coast.
anthems are where its at! you seen those graphics? thats some old school northern getaway shit. Y'know the sweaters with the wolves on them that your mom used to buy you as a kid, thats whats kickin!
i agree. i've had STLs for the past 3 seasons, and they do killer in the park and all over. i took them out west as well, and they did just fine out there too (i didn't get into any super deep stuff). but you said you had some pow skis sooo..
Im sorry, some people are suggesting ludicrous combinations of ski. "EP pros or anthems"?, "Troublemakers or ARV"? Have you any idea how different those skis are?
If you want a good allround ski, not for powder, just groomers and park go for Rossi Ghetto/Scratch FS, Volkl Wall/Karma, Dynastar Troublemaker, Armada AR6 or pipecleaner if you can afford them. Other companies skis simply wont last as long as these skis, especially Salomon. Line anthems or Fisher addicts are good but only if you are thinking of doing a lot of switch riding.
ep pros are hella rockered and the anthems are a wide park ski...aka...designed to be center mounted...so way byebye to all mountain preformance. of course you can still rock em all mountain but they wont be as nice as say a PE or BRIDGE would be.
ep pros would be hella fun but keep in mind they are very rockered. arvs might be a good option for you. but very farly floppy so keep that in mind.
if you want a great semi-stiff ski that can go all over the mountain and slay the park at the same time...go msp
movement skis, soo high end and they're cheaper than volkl, look em up or go to the Skirack in Burlington, they carry movement, plus LINE, plus Armada, come to think of it they probably have the biggest selection of freeride skis your looking for
