A quick crochet question

If i am starting from the bottom of the hat, how do i start making the top of the hat go in?

Do i just start taking out stitches everytime around?

crochet cult. get yourself an invite. but yeah if you start at the bottom you basically take up two stitches with one stitch. like doing double stitches but backwards. every 4th stitch and you should be good

just do it from the top, so much easier.

well if youre making a condom beanie then it doesnt matter. make the hat twice as long as normal and then close it off so if you come up short or long it wont matter that much

if ur doing a condom yo could just sew it all together...but yeah just skip on stich every like 7 stiches for a row, then thenext row skip one ever 6, then 5, then 4, then so on.
