i just ordered a pair of 08 lizzies and i was going to put my p12 jibs on there but the guys at my local shop said that look doesnt make a binding wide enough for my bindings anymore and i need to buy new bindings. is this true?
also if i do need new bindings what would you guys reccomend? i wont realy use these much at all for park, just all mtn and for when i go out west on trips.

P12 jibs will work. I have them on mine. Just bend the wide brakes out a little. If you want new ones try deadbolts or maybe even jesters. I have heard good things

Nah man you just need to find one of the older wide brake kits and bend them a little bit. Some shops just refuse to bend brakes. I've seen plenty people with the older P series bindings on skis with 120mm waists. If I'm not mistaken they clear about 95mm waist with no bending at all.
One other thing, which I think Line has fixed, but a year or two back a few people had problems with heel pieces ripping out of the Elizabeths. I think this was when Line was still putting the mounts for their binding on the ski, and has since been corrected. Can anyone confirm?

^ I thought it was because of how soft they are combined with the width and the fact that there is metal in the mounting area. Bindings with small screw patterns like fks ripped out. I think that is right...

what about no!!!!!!!!
sorry but the heelpiece keep on breaking.
If you dont feal like bending brakes get some uber wide salomon. atomic ffg 14 comes with wide bindings too and they fit my thugs so they wont fear your elisabeths.
binding brakes is easy, just that most ski shop dont know how to do it properly without some decent amount of beer given.

your p-12's will just need to have the breaks bentor get the px12, or rossi scratch 120, they really are the best bindings out there.

dude the new sth 16's are off the charts. they're really reliable and super light weight for how bomb proof they are. they come with a 100mm brake, which would easily fit your lizzies with minimal bending. i'd say get those for sure over anything else.

why do people constantly ask this question on newschoolers. Besides a few exceptions it doesnt matter what binding you put on what ski. A Look or Rossi or Maker binding would all work the same. Its all about preference with what binding you like, its not going to affect what ski your on

agreed elizabeths+deadbolts= bad choice. They're too wide of skis for those bindings. If I ever land on my edges off of jumps they fall off

i love my jesters. lil' expensive but sick bindings. IMO best binding this season for wide skis.
