ski swaps can be bullshit though if you're on the wrong side of one
i dont have my own drilling/mounting setup, so i needed to go to Peter Glenn in Richmond to get my old AR5's center-mounted for early season jibs. i like the place and they give me good deals for the most part, even though all my buddies who used to work there have moved on...i called the guys the other day and they said they'd do it and hit me with a free wax and whatnot...but the wait might be OVER A MONTH because the fuckers just had a tent sale and sold 150 pairs of gaper sticks and bindings that need to be mounted, and they're totally backed up because they only have 1 or 2 techs on site.

no, it was a big deal that look didn't have a vertical release on their new racestock bindings, apparently it's bad on people knees.

some people think it causes prerelease but most of the time on fks it isnt vertical release its just your forward pressure isnt set well. vertical release can be very good for the knees on some crashes

vert release helps in backwards twisting falls. the kinds that fuck up knees. racestocks dont need that cause, the chances of that kind of fall are rare in raceing.
