Wireless internet??

how do u use it??

i have roadrunner as an isp and my network is wired

we have a dell laptop and its plugged into the wall on a wired network.
we just got a new imac as well

is wireless slower and also is it the same price monthly?
if wireless is slower can i have my mac plugged into a wired network and have the dell on wireless??

you buy another router cept this ones wireless and hook it up onto your original routher and yes you can still keep computers wired right out of your original router and theres normally a few ethernet ports on the wireless router is you want to wire some computers in there.(at least thats how mine works)



but yeah wireless is quite a bit slower connection then wired but if your just doing it to get on webpages or msn and stuff its not that bad...ive even done a bit of gaming and not gotten to pissed off about it...
