i wasn't a member but was looking into it - went to the site and got an error message so i researched and found this

servers were supposed to be in a country where it was legal, so i dont know, but im not happy about it being down, hopefully itll be back soon- they only updated it about 2 weeks ago....

isohunt.com is better anyway it searches ALL of the torrent sites, i downloaded animal house in a half hour last night because it brings back some many seeders

And with the proxies that do work, I can't login to Demonoid, which means no torrents. Lol. Help?

a proxy wont work, unless it can give you a fake ip from a country outside canada, because you cant connect to trackers without a fixed ip...

download a software proxy, find an ip that is stationed outside the US/Canada that has a reasonable speed and you are good to go.

I use Mininova, PirateBay. I like Demonoid though, 'cause it's easier to find torrents with good ratios (faster)

yeah its pretty gay that CRIA shut down demonoid. but any file sharing site is illegal, it just has to be proven by the goverment
