Replying to 18th birthday bullshit

so today was my 18th birthday and i had saved a bunch of money to a tedeschis and buy cigars and scratchies. so i go before school this morning and i tell the lady what i want and shes like, 'can i see an ID' so i give it to her and she said that i wasnt 18 yet. i was like, are you shitting me, of course im 18, todays my fuckin birthday and she told me that i could buy stuff there tomorrow because of the tobacco??? so i figured that she just didnt wanna sell the stuff to me, so i went to another tedeschis on teh way to school..same exact fucking thing happens. i was ripshit cuz it was all bs, so i then went to a CVS and 7/11 and they sold me everything just fine. so, does anyone know what tedeschi's deal is, why wouldnt they sell to me and make me wait for the next day?
