i know that there is a favorite beer thread but what is everyones favorite beer to get shitfaced off. you can only drink so much molson, guiness, high life, etc before getting a full stomach. so i ask what beer tastes good but can also be drank quickly and in large quantities. im getting sick of the same old coors, miller, bud, keystone etc. your thoughts?
Your logic makes more sense. If you're getting full from drinking normal beer, why would you switch to beer with less alcohol and have to drink more of it? This will make your problem worse.
I've never found a light beer to have equal alcohol to normal beer. Out of the four sources of calories (carbs, fats, protein and alcohol) alcohol has by far the most calories per weight unit. To knock calories down in light beer, they cut the amount of alcohol. I am not sure if they do anything else beyond that, but I do know they do that.
how are you gonna say coors tastes like water and that bud light is so better? all of those light beers taste like water i fucking hate it when people say that dont complain about one light beer and act like another one is the best thing ever
first off, light beer doesnt have less alcohol than normal beer. the alcohol content is posted on many beers and its all the same, malt and ice can be more.
second, I am pretty sure PBR is not a light beer. and it doesnt taste just like anything, it tastes terrible.
wrong, light beers do have less alcohol. PBR tastes great and Keystone ICE blows.
Here's the rundown:
Coors Light/Bud Light/Keystone Light/Miller Lite - 4.2%
Coors Original/Budweiser/MGD/Labatt/PBR - 5.0%
Miller High Life/Bud Ice - 5.5%
Guiness Draught - 4.0% ouch
Heineken Light - 3.5% double ouch
Heineken - 5.4%
Sam Adams - 4.8% surprising
Corona - 4.6% also weak for the $$$$
Guess Miller High Life wins. That's news to me. I've always been a PBR guy. And I'll avoid the ICE beers thank you. Microbrews are obviously higher alcohol.
I love keystone, miller high life, and miller light. But in utah it doesn't matter its all 3.2%. But thats why I got 40oz of OE at the liquor store and im drinking that.
