Douchebags Get SLC Premiers Cancelled

tonight we had the salt lake premier of realtime at westminster college. we were also planning on doing premiers of save, pnw, catchy title, remember when, possibly wanderland, and isenseven's undermovie...probably not anymore.
basically, we had a really nice venue at westminster. the kind of venue that you shouldn't leave beer all over the floor in. but apparently a few people can't understand that, so after the movie we had to pick up tons of beer cans, many of them knocked over and beer spilled all over. with the help of a school representative...meaning we're most likely now kicked off campus.
now the problem wasn't that people brought in beer, we pretty much count on that. the problem is that there were clear signs that said "no food and drinks," we announced "no food and drinks,"and it should've been pretty obvious that the rule was "no food and drinks." MEANING, if you want to bring beer (or whatever) in, you be discrete about it and YOU CARRY IT OUT AND DON'T LEAVE IT ALL OVER THE FUCKING FLOOR. really, how hard is that?

on a cheerier note, we can probably come up with some sweet rewards for anyone who finds and beats the ever living shit out of the douchebags who did this. they were going to be giveaways for our other premiers...looks like we won't be needing those anymore.

Ya I saw a bunch of cans on the floor. But those drunken antics were priceless. Hopefully all the other premiers won't be canceled.

first of all...there probably is no "next premier." secondly, you'd have a REALLY hard time getting a liquor license for a college ski club in ANY state, let alone utah. third, the issue isn't the legality, it's the fact there is NO FOOD OR DRINK allowed in the concert hall - westminster has a liquor license, but alcohol (or any other food or drink) still isn't allowed in there.

Chris posted this on my screenname, but I agree with everything except the spelling of canceled. And we're serious about this rewards program. There's a chance we might be able to work out a free pass to Brighton or the Canyons or PC for someone who actually breaks both legs of one of the kids who left cans on the floor (obviously you'd have to prove they were involved). I'm not even kidding.
WE'RE THE FUCKING WESTMINSTER SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW.

Drinking and skiing does go hand in hand, but how hard is it to put the beer cans BACK into the backpack that they came in in... just like camping, LEAVE NO TRACE!
