i touched them in person today and i would lean towards no.  They are a price point ski.
However, you can ski powder with any ski

if you want a pow ski armada has ARVs ARGs and JPs
why would you buy the El Rays? just cought the money and get a real pow ski you wont be dissapointed

the El Rey is a rad all mountain ski and it skis crud really well. However just like everyone said above me, its best to just fork over the cash and get a pair of pow skis if thats what your looking for.
