College Rugby

Now that I am starting to enroll in colleges, I am looking to play for a college team (in the US.)

Does anyone here play or have played college rugby? If so, how was it? I have been playing for a couple of years, how hard is it to get on decent teams?

most of the colleges in the U.S. only have club level rugby teams, umass (which is a pretty large school) only had it at club level, most schools don't even have it

I play in Canada, but it is not a CIS sanctioned event, although it might as well be.  There are national championships and travel etc but the schools dont fund it fully.  Its still quite a decent level though, at least at my school around your average mens first div team.  There are a few Canada players kicking around in my league and on my team so that should give you an idea.
