Hey has anyone tried the new ARVs? I hear they're lighter, stiffer and better at high speeds than before. Would anyone suggest them over something like the AR6, El Ray, Big Trouble, Wall or Bridge for East Coast use if I ski park 50% of the time and all mountain 50%?
I skied the 08 ARV's and they were my favorite all mountain twin I skied of the day, including troublemakers, bridge, cronic blend, pipe cleaner, thruster. Stiffer this year, held an edge on some hard snow at Keystone. I'd say a great allmountain ski for east coast, just don't expect super huge GS turns when things really ice up.
Naa, just skis that I skied that day, closest comparisons would be the Bridge at 92 under foot and the cronic blend which is 90, both allmountain twins with similar dimmensions.
