2 things:

1- he didnt do anyhting to brace for impact or to better himself wen he realized he was going down

2- those ski patrollers/ first aid guys had DOPE outerwear, haha

He could've landed that, would've been an extreme case of luck combined with massive amounts of awesome on his part, but it was possible to ride that out forward. However, I would feel obliged to give him 1000000 gold stars if he had landed it.
