px isnt that heavy... besides, you don't really notice the weight of bindings.
but honestly, you're pretty small, so a 16 din binding (jester and sth) seems to be massive overkill, not to mention a high price associated with them. You eould probably use most bindings out there and get away with it. PX 12/axial2 120 would suit just fine, a salomon sth 12 would be better suited than the 16 as well, and you can find look p12s for cheap, as well as others as well, such as fks 120.

sure do, but still, 16 din bindings are excessive. I have chillin behind me a pair of look p8.0s (DIN to 12, go figure) that have lasted... 5 years? 6 years? hundreds of days on them, and they still work, barely, but considering the shit theyve taken, it's impressive.
It's wise to invest in a good pair of bindings, but you really, really dont need anything that is 16 or above. I mean theyll work (aside from the sth 16; it has min DIN of 9, which would be absurd for you), but it's overkill, pure and simple.

yeah i'd say look p12s or rossi fks's (same thing). they're going to be lighter than the px 12s and will last. and yeah the salomon sth 16 is a little over kill on the din for you. and the jester just isn't really worth it i don't think.

oh really 9 is the lowest because right now i have my deadbolts set at 7 but i know ill bump it up, but by how much im not sure so it sounds like the sth 12, maybe jester and the looks. but dont the jester start at a real low setting and then go up to 16?

the din on the jester ranges from 6 to 16, which is a pretty accommodating range. But, if youre looking for something with that kind of retention and housing (which you do not need), then you can find look/rossi racestocks (p12 junior race, fks 155) for like $100+ less than the jester, which is around $330.

with your height, weight and assuming a BSL in line with that, I doubt you need a 6-16din binding...go look/rossi

go with the px12s and i dunno about the rossi 14 ones, but i would imagine their pretty good, but yeah sth16 is overkill

ive had 2 pairs of px's and for park i think they are terrible, they always pre release when i try a 270 on or something, so i just got p12's cause the turnable heel is the best ever.
salomons are somewhat weak but while they last they are nice.

Why STH 16? I could say that STH 12 would be fine for you, if you're looking at the PX 12.

ive had all 3 brands, and i found look or rossi to be the best by far, the way they clip in holds your foot more securely, and doesnt rattle around at all. Ive had nothing but trouble from markers, they blew up on me several times. And salomon i found didnt hold my foot in wel enough (my toe moved around) and when i was in powder with them, they seemed to loosen up and my toe moved pretty bad.

check your forward pressure on the looks. the p12 heel is not the best heel ever. it actually has a ton of play laterally, so they dont ski nearly as well as the new heel does, and the new heel still releases exactly the same as the old one, you just need to move it up a click or two to increase your forward pressure.

well...it's a given that unless you want your bindings to break, buy salomon. marker is out of the question because they just don't compare to the other stuff out there. this leaves you with look/rossi. do yourself a favour and go buy some px's. you'll love yourself for it.
