i bought skis online monday and i got them today and just took them out of the box and there still in laminate but when i looked for cracks or scratches i cam across a weird bulge in the top sheet at the top of the ski. interestingly it was on both skis so perhaps it is a small crack only exposed on the top sheet surface because in the side profile u cant see a crack other than a bulge in the topsheet. the bulge is near the top of the ski so it wont affect binding mounting. wat do u guys think i should do return them or keep them?
the pictures are not very clear, because you were holding the camera too close, and not in macro mode, or whatever it is. i would say send them back. when you get them back, it feels like you just got free new skis. its such a nice feeling.
just spoke to the guy at proctor jones and he said hes gonna take a look at them and then send me back a new pair. there brand new skis btw so its not free as mentioned above
the weird thing is that it has the exact same problem on both skis. can't tell if its a crack or not but i doubt it. it looks like just extra topsheet but im sending it back anyways cause im not taking a chance
