Scratch Sprayer BCs are wood core and have the same dimensions as the first gen BCs (90mm waist).
Scratch BCs are the 98mm waisted THC core ones.

core, dimensions, cost.
BC has thc, whereas sprayer has just a wood core. its a good ski, but doesnt have quite stiffness nor liveliness of the BC. Sprayer has same dimensions as the older BC models, whereas the BC is wider. Thus, the Sprayer is the more economical ski, you get less frills for less money

which ski would be better for EC powder/trees? I feel like 98mm would be a little wide for me

The regular bc would probably still be better than the sprayer even for EC, although you could possibly get a more nimble ski. Don't take my word for it though I've never rode the bc.

sprayers are more beginner/ lighter skier oriented. the regular bcs are so much better. the 98 waist is really not that bad, because it is so light. so just go with the regular bc
All times are Eastern (-5)
