Canon gl1 re-build

has anyone sent in there gl1 to get fixed or rebuilt.. if
so what was wrong and how much did it cost??

wont even turn on! and yes i tried a new battery,
so basicly there could be a whole bunch of shit wrong.. who knows

Yeah mine had a problem with the screen and the viewfinder not switching properly. I found a local independant repair shop that was Canon approved and they fixed it really cheap, I don't remember how much.
