$$$$$ Ski movie prices? $$$$$

Let me first say this...I really don't mind paying 30ish bucks for this years ski film. If it's the latest and most hyped release i'll buy it and support the film makers and industry.
BUT
What's with still charging 30 bucks for a movie that's 3+ years old? I lost my copy of 1242. I went to poorboys webiste to replace it. $26 is a little high. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing movie but it's 4 years old.
Same thing goes for MSP and TGR movies. I want to build up my collection but don't want to take a loan out to do it.

I got Session 1242 and Ready Fire Aim for $3.50 a piece off of sierratradingpost.com a few years back. I feel your pain though, paying $30 to get the video before the snow falls is worth it, paying $30 for a video a few years old is ridiculous.

This is the real reason it's called ski porn. Have you ever seen the price tag on a porn dvd??

I agree with you. They would probably earn more by lowering the prices on the older movies (especially the good classics, e.g. 1242), and everyone would go and buy a copy because so many people enjoy it.
Latest movies (e.g. this year's) I don't mind paying $30 for. Even at $30, I still have a hard time getting all the latest, most hyped movies. I've gotten Yeah Dude, Idea, Save, and Believe, but I'd still like Seven Sunny Days and Realtime. I guess I just gotta wait for people to review the film and figure out whether it's worth the $30 or not

Absolutely, and they have better prices on the new releases than I have seen anywhere else. Plus free shipping over $30 or something like that.

Buy the 3/6 pack's that the companies sometimes sell, and then sell the movies out of it that you already have on NS.

4skizzle--
MSP flicks on their skimovie.com site:
The last two, Push and Hit List: $19.95 each
All movies before that: $15 each, or 2 for $19.95.
That's not breaking the bank.

Fucking 30$ for a movie is a rip off, 20$ more and thats a weeks worth of food. They spend alot of money, and then put out allmost the same shit each year. Look for Meatheads new movie that is going to sell for a legit 19.95, with some of the sickest urban and deepest pow shots out of any other movie this year.
