at least pat uses facts and provable information, unlike people who give weak responses like 'he joined the reich' or 'you are believing the lies.' When you make a point, go on information or something that makes sense, and maybe that will change his mind if that's what you're trying to do because he'd see logic in your thinking..

Yea...well Nickskier, do you know why those people have more money? Because they earned it. Now sure there are those who inherited a fortune, but we shouldn't unfairly burden the people who worked hard for their money.

ECFS- im not saying that didn't earn, where did you hear me say that. but how about you look at... almost every other person. you think the rich are the only ones who work? what about the immigrants who work 10 hour days and barely have enough to live, your saying they dont deserve a break?

yea...but you aren't giving them a break, you are taxing the rich at higher RATES, simply because they are rich. If they earned the money just like everyone else (through better skills, etc.) then why should they be subject to higher taxes?

through better skills ect, most of the time the rich get rich the same way musicians get famous, luck. i think they should get taxed higher because they will have more money than the rest of the population regardless.

That doesn't make any sense. Why aren't they taxed at the same rate? And don't say that it's luck. Most of the self-made rich today are smart and worked very, very hard to secure their wealth. The government has no right to take a greater percentage from them as it does others.

robbie knows his shit. It's not fair to tax the rich at higher rates... it doesn't make any sense. Personally, I think their should be a higher INHERATINCE tax, that way the people have to work harder to earn money.

yes, the rich are rich because they worked hard, but for every 1 rich person their are 10 that worked just as hard and didn't get rich. i call it luck.

not to mention a great percentage of rich ppl didnt start off poor. They had the money to get to university, and ultimately, they had the money, so they had some power.

I'm a currently a student I make less than 15k a year Do I need a tax break? Let me think last year I got 100% of my federal tax back in April (end of tax year) Hmm I need a tax cut they should pay me 115% of what I paid them and the extra 15% should be coming straight from rich people because they have lots of money they dont need anyway!!! Shit I shouldnt even have to work If i make less than 15k a year my entire salary should just come from rich peoples money they wont miss the 15k they dont have anything to spend their money on. they probably dont even deserve to be rich.

you know what, any way you look at it, it sucks ass. I'm sick of talkn about this, because there is no right or wrong answer to that question, or maybe there is, its just nobody knows it. The only answer i can give is socialism. Ppl, in a totally govt controlled area, get rewarded for how hard they work, and how much they better humanity. No money, because money is too easily controlled by those who have a lot of it. Why can we not have socialism? Because people that dont earn nearly the amount of money they make, are the ones in control, and have most of the power. Not to mention, in order to make these sums of money, they turn there back on bettering humanity.
