Dish washers

i feel bad for all of you i jsut started my job as a dishwasher aswell as jsut ended it. You guys are the ultimate bitch for X many hours a week and who ever ahs put up with it for more than 1 shift I salute you but i made the realization that there are jobs out there that arent the equivilant to horse blow job giver

Dude you're just a bitch. I was a dishwasher for three years at the same resturant and picked up a second job at a restaurant as a dishwasher and it was balling. Don't be the bitch, you bitch.

dont listen to skiierman, youre not a bitch for disliking a shitty job.

theres no reason to work a job that sucks, because if it sucks it always means its not enough money for the work you do.

I worked one shift at this frozen custard place and then got a job at caribou coffee. was I a bitch for quitting? well now I'm making more money at a job where most of the time I do jack shit. unlike that awful job where I had to clean constantly.

youre not a man for doing a job that sucks. youre a fuckin sucker. theres easy money out there you just have to be selective. I'm a lazy man and if anyone has a problem with that fuck em. theres jobs for lazy people like me out there.

so you enjoy washing dishing hour on end and every time you look over there is a pile twice as high as before then you finally truck through it and then look over to see a mountain of hot greasy pots and pans just waiting to be hand scrubbed and dried while the cooks sit around eating left over shrimp and talking about their weekends

Dish washing isn't that bad. I've done a few dish shifts, and all you really have to do is get into a rhythm and figure out your process... bussers are the actual bitch job, you actually just clean people's shit, and you have to do it really quickly because hostesses always need the tables.

Once you get to that point, which is like a month in, you are so good at it, it isn't a deal at all. During rush hours, you sit by the walk in freezers during hot days while the cooks hurry as fast as they can to meet orders. They slave over the stove while I'm chilling in the walk in freezer. It's fucking baller.

no bussers move peoples shit to the area where it gets cleaned by the real bitches for the people who say they liked it where you working in a busy kitchen and by yourslf cuz working alone and working with someone can make or break the job

I don't agree. Dishwashers are definitely the bitch job. All bussers do is clear the table and re-set it. I'll take my bussgirl position over a dishwashers anyday.

I worked two days a week (sat and sun) from 8am-3pm as a dishwasher for like a month and a half(oct1-nov14 roughly) and i wanted to kill myself after that amount of time, it sucks so much ball sack.

damn that's too bad you worked in a shitty place.

i was a dishwasher for a season at a nice resturant (Chart House in Steamboat. it was fucking awesome. $10.50/hr to spray some dishes, listen to my music, get high, and drink long islands all night. it was one of the best jobs i had when i was younger.

nothing wrong with dishwashing.. i've put in my fair share of dishwashing hours. sure it sucked being in a room 2x3m with a steriliser running while its 30+degc outside but you get into a rhythm and just think about shit while you do the dishes on autopilot where I worked we shared the dishwashing shifts around so you were never doing it days on end

Ive been washing dishes for2 years strong. It sucks sometimes but you can fuck around and do whatever for a good amount of time too. I smoke with the people at work too. So its pretty sick.

i had to say i hated it...but it was actually pretty sick when i did it. i could take breaks whenever i wanted and ask the cooks to make me free meals. so id chill in the back with a plate of huge nachos and a pitcher of coke. and if i had a morning shift id do pretty much nothing and let the night guy finish it off...if i had a night shift i had to finish it all but...

got an offer for another job like a week after i started there...and i took it cause i was just sick of cleaning...and it gets so hot with all the steam fuck.
