Replying to Academic Suspension ...

So one night we had a "block meeting" last week at 10pm. This is for everyone staying in my residence to get together, get weekly updates on res. life and such alike. So I went loaded out of my mind with a couple other people that were no where near as fucked up as i was. So I run into this meeting screaming "block partyyy woooooo!" and walk into the room to everyone staring at me. Anyways my don (guy who is incharge of everyone) is cool and didnt say anything about it. Anyways as the meeting begins he tells all of us (50~) that he needs 2 reps for our block to go to some weekly other meetings. I am the first one to put up my hand for no apparent reason. Since me and one other person signed up, that ment we were automatically elected. I forgot all about this till today when i get a knock on my door telling me I have my first meeting tonight.

I proceed to tell the man that i was loaded and i dont want to do it. He tells me i have to because there was only me and one other person, and no back up to take my spot. He told me if i dont go to the meeting tonight I will be put on academic suspension because i was drinking underage and that it will not pass as a reason to resign.

These meetings are something like 4 hours a week and i really dont wanna do it because i think its going to be pretty gay. I will go to the one tonight but if its stupid i dont know what i should do.
