Bought some today, had them mounted on some old belanger pros. The dude only put the dins on 5, so i clicked in on the carpet at home and as soon as I flexed the nose I double ejected, so i cranked them up to 9, which is what I ride my other skis on. Then clicked back in, flexed the nose - fine, went back on the tail and the toepiece popped off? Not the whole plate, just the triangular bit. Now I can't get the screw on the top go back into the plate.. what do I do??!
call me crazy but it sounds like you broke your binding. considering that a binding definitely shouldn't break doin that you should be able to get new ones... that's lame.
Wow, that is pretty impressive.
Take it back and see if the shop will hook you up with a new toe piece so you can ride while the warranty claim goes in.
i have those. yeah they always put the din too low...but mine didnt pop off. i did double eject on carpet, so i jacked the din myself and tried them outside when it snowed...again double eject. so i took them in. i thought they may not be fitting flush with the boot or something. he just said "the din needs to be higher" so its at like 9 or something, when i had set it myself at 9 or something. he ran it through stress tests, it passed. and i took them to the hill, and they worked just fine...i feel like he may have done some adjustments in the backroom instead of just moving the din like not even a whole incriment at all...sneaky bastard...made me look stupid.
