Realtime is way better then lss, and for that matter, way better then any ski movie I have ever seen. It got me so pumped to ski. Epic powder. Massive booters. Endless variety of rails. Gnarly hucks. Insane park segments. Colorado (fuck yea). All with a little bit of steeze sprinkled on top. Wiley Miller is a crazy mofo. Rainville and Redd can't be stopped. Berman's timelapse's are trippy as hell. Most progressive skiing I have ever seen. See this movie.
i have not been a fan of level 1's last 2 movies! the skiing has been good but i don't like the way they put together their movies. hopefully real time is better! i know poorboyz stepped it up this year!
Go with Idea, not Realtime. Realtime had so much potential that never came through in the video. The editing and tech work to the movie was amazing, I just feel like none of the skiers really displayed the talent everyone knows they have. For instance, Corey Vanular was amazing at the beginning, but thats about it, he never came up the rest of the movie. The rest of the movie was scattered with b level shots besides the last few colorado shoots.
Not really. His Superunknown video was much better than his stuff in Realtime. Dont get me wrong, he had some amazing shots at the end of the year stuff at the Colorado shoots, but it seems like those shoots got maybe 2 minutes each. Wayyy too quick for such sick set ups like the one at Keystone at the end of the year.
a kid like me from the midwest would go with realtime instead of idea because a movie like idea or believe that's mostly pow and shredding lines would bore me because i cannot appreciate that kind of riding considering i have never done/or experienced that. I would rather buy realtime because i have more fun watching park and urban and booters because i can relate to it so i would go with realtime on this
they usually ship beginning of october becuase the past 2 seasons ive ordered level 1 movies they always come in the day before we get the first 6"dump which is perfect becuase i get all pumped to go sesh. and that happends mid october usually but maybe they are shipping early this season
There was some really awesome skiing. So much of it was like stock level 1 footage though... awesome but mediocre from what I was expecting. I need to not get so drunk when I go to premieres so I can actually remember stuff. If you go into the movie looking for the most absolutely mindblowing skiing you will probably be dissapointed. The skiing is fantastic just not insane like I expected. The cinematography however, in parts, is holy shit amazing. The timelapses are WEAK SHIT, how many fast forward driving down the highway at night shots can you put in a movie? come on. The sickest part for me was how stacked it is with footage from Colorado. Telluride, Aspen, San Juan mts, echo, eclipse park, KEYSTONE, breck. The heli follow cams in Keystone are so epic. Tod walnutz goes huge in that seg.
i would rather watch tech smaller rail shit from hornbeck, liam and vanular than PBP yank yank double flips and circus bull shit. i also like to watch pretzles and other fun rail tricks that are not butchered to music cuts.
why did you just quote me? I hate double flips just as much as anyone else. Did anyone else think the closing shot was weak though. Once again, I was drunk keep this in mind. But the closing shot was a 180 into powder that was like nothing special compared to any of the 180s in Idea.
