skaterbrand jeans like lifetime collective or krew
but nothing over 75
i tihnk im going to buy some cheap stretchy sears brand jeans and sew them tight
i dont get why people pay 100$ or more for jeans with holes in them, essentially less fabric, at hollister or ambacrombie. when u can get jeans for like 30$ at old navy or some place like that, and if u feel the need u can put holes in ur jeans with these things called sissors
I only wear Evisu
$300-$800 a pair.
Actually I don't wear jeans ever, just shorts, and mostly long Ecko shorts. Even if its 5 below F. I do own Evisu shoes though. Very nice shit.
agreed. although i have a pair of jeans with a hole in the knee that got there just through extreme use of the pants. but i don't wear it unless i have no other clean pants left.
That's not really "high-end" denim. But I won't be a snob!
I have a pair of dry APCs hipsters that are about 5 months old now. I am thinking about washing for the first time sometime in late October or November. Also just picked up some grey diors 19cm. In the future, I may buy some APC new standards or some flatheads.
If anyone wants to buy a pair of Seven Standards in a 29inch waist from this season, I have a pair that were bought for me that I don't wear. It's a straight leg and the actual denim is pretty light. I have worn them about 10 or so times and the MRSP was $250 CAD, I would let them go for $50 or so CAD plus shipping. I'll get pictures if anyone is interested.
Well, within the fashion community, those brands are really looked down upon because they are garish. Big back pockets and boot-cuts don't go over well. However, most of the people in the fashion community can be big snobs so take it as you will.
i'll give you a bit on the pockets... but it really depends on the fit, size of a womans ass, or which line they are. my diesel hush d.c. have pockets that i can only fit up to my mid knuckles in.
but pockets are important when fitting jeans. for women, if they're too big and hang past the butt cheeks then they make your ass look flabby. if you don't have a perfectly fit ass, sometimes jeans with no pockets make your ass look looser or flabby.
and for those who hate on the process of buying these jeans... for women at least, it is a work out. sliding in and out of a dozen jeans to find the right one... (if your spending $$$ on jeans, you're sure as hell gonna find the perfect pair)
That goes for mens jeans too although womens are a bit harder to fit. Not one jean fits everyone... but... that's what's great about raw denim. It's not popular in women's clothing. You buy it one or two sizes down, its very stiff. It stretches out quite quickly to the shape of your body and fits very well. It also distresses naturally in accordance to how you wear it.
I didn't mean big pockets... I meant pocket stitching. Anything that garish isn't really looked upon favourably in the fashion community. The idea of style is to show that you can dress well not because you're wearing a certain brand but by the way you choose fit, aesthetics, colour choice and detailing.
the most iv ever spent on a pair of jeans is like 40-50 bucks
some of my old friends that shopped at A&F or hollister or AE would be like yea i just bought these new jeans and id ask them how much they cost and theyd say like 90 or 100 and id just laugh and be like yea i coulda gotten 3 pairs at that price and theyr way better than that preppy shit you got there
my favorite pair of pants are from almost 8 years ago. got them for $4 at gap. they've got a hole in one knee, but otherwise still in pretty good shape.
Same here. Someone says they spent $200 on jeans and I say that sucks, thats about $15 tops for fabric and $10 of labor and $175 gone. I don't need to spend more than $40 on clothing because honestly I feel that charging anymore is a rip off no matter how Italy they are.
